How it works
Any payor, any size. Distributor, label, publisher or PRO, including statements that run back years. The engine reads the format, not the other way around.
The engine re-derives what each line should have paid: rates, deductions, reversals, negative entries and income that never showed up. Not a sample. Every row.
A ready-to-send list of what doesn't add up, each finding with the exact rows behind it and the wording to send to your payor.
Add your contractAdding your contract unlocks the most discoveries: it lets the engine check rates, recoupment, reserves and payment windows, instead of rows compared only with themselves. What it can prove, it reports with the rows behind it. What it can't, it holds back instead of guessing.
What it catches
Fees and deductions taken line by line, including ones your contract doesn't allow.
Negative entries and chargebacks with no plays or deal term behind them.
Lines paid below your contract rate, or below the statement's own rate.
Advances and costs recouped against income your deal excludes, or past the balance owed.
Your writer, publisher or registered share paid at less than you own.
Works earning nothing, missing periods, and balances that never carried forward.
Why it changes the math
200×Over 200 times less than the lowest fee an audit firm charges for a desk audit, and minutes instead of weeks. Inverse reads every row instead of a sample.
The clock is running
ASCAP writers have until January 31. BMI gives nine months from each payment. Miss it and the error stays in their favor.

Every quarter, another statement locks for good.

You are trusting us with your contracts and your money. Here is exactly how we protect them, in plain language.

We know what a statement can hide, because we have been paid on them. Your first check is free, then from $19 per statement, shown before you pay.

Statements from distributors, labels, publishers, PROs and neighboring rights societies, including ASCAP, BMI, Warner, Virgin, SoundExchange, Curve and DistroKid.
No. A statement on its own is enough to flag negative entries, plays with no earnings and rates below the statement's own average. Add your contract and every row is also checked against your deal.
Your statements are hosted on SOC 2 Type II audited infrastructure, encrypted with TLS in transit and AES at rest, protected by row-level security per account, and never used to train third-party models.
No. Registration and collection tools find songs missing from PROs, The MLC and SoundExchange and claim money that was never collected. Inverse checks the statements you were already paid on, row by row, against the statement itself and your contract. Your songs can be perfectly registered and still be underpaid.
No. Inverse produces a factual reconciliation of your statement: what doesn't add up, and the questions to ask. Speak with your attorney or accountant before acting on it.
Your first statement check is free. After that you pay once per report, priced by statement size and shown before you pay, with no subscription. Management companies can choose a monthly roster plan instead. See pricing for the details.
